Catherine Campbell Mont It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Catherine Campbell Mont who passed away on Thursday Dec 27th. Born in Sydney Mines on Sept 30, 1949 she was the daughter of Peter and Ethel (MacKinnon) Campbell. After graduation Catherine was employed by Maritime Tel and Tel from where she retired after 30 years of service. Her passion in life was writing and she wrote many short stories, novels and screen plays although she would never submit them for publication. To her writing was just a pleasure. Catherine is survived by her sisters Betty Young (Jim), Mary Pouliot (Clem) and Alice Wilson (with whom she resided, her brothers Peter Campbell (Sheila Crowther) and Donald Campbell and sisters in law Linda Boutilier Campbell ,Brenda MacDonald, Rhonda Mont and Linda Way . Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Kenneth Mont in 2014,his parents George and Ruth (Draper) Mont and her dear brother Gerald in 2015 and brother in law Edward Wilson She was also predeceased by her sister in law Georda MacDonald She will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved. Visitation will be at Cruikshank's Funeral Home 2666 Windsor Street on Friday Jan 4th from 6-8 pm with the funeral service in the chapel at 10 am Saturday Jan 5, 2019 with reception following. Interment will be at Camp Hill Cemetery following reception.
