Lucy Begley Martin

Lucy Begley Martin, age 91 of Dublin, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Brookdale Muirfield Assisted Living. Lucy was born on December 3, 1927 in Hazard, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Dennis and Vilcie (Feltner) Begley. She graduated from Hamilton High School and was a member of Laurel Avenue Church of Christ in Hamilton. Lucy loved to watch the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals, enjoyed sewing, and especially liked spending time with her family. She married her husband of over 72 years, Carl Gordon Martin, on December 28, 1946 in Hamilton, Ohio. Lucy is survived by her husband, Carl; children, Rhonda (Richard) Reynolds and Victor (Suzie) Martin; grandchildren, Peter (Rachel) Martin, Patrick (Delia) Martin, Justin (Megan) Reynolds, Lindsey (Rodery) Ruivivar, Gordon Martin, and Robbie (Andrew) Knapp; and great-grandchildren, Eddie Reynolds, Andrew Reynolds, Ariella Martin, and Roman Martin. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Ruby Elliott, Helen Sields, Clara Morris, and Flora Gray. Visitation will be held from 10am until 12pm on Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, Ross Avenue at South “D” Street, Hamilton. Funeral Service will be held at 12pm on Wednesday at the funeral home with Charles Anderson, Minister officiating. Interment will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park.
