Francesca Mascioli

It’s with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Francesca Mascioli on July 7, 2018 at the age of 96. We lost a truly inspiring and beautiful woman. Francesca’s beauty was both inside and out. She was much loved and respected by everyone who knew her. She was one of the strongest women we knew. Francesca had a great love for her family. Her greatest happiness was to bring joy to others. Her generosity, kindness and love sustained us all throughout the years. Francesca is reunited with her loving husband of 55 years, Ernesto. Francesca will be missed so very much and lovingly remembered by her children, Assunta, Rocco (Wendy), Adorno (Janie), Frank (Darlene), Gabriella and her sisters Luisa, Anna Maria, brothers Luigi (Ada) and Michele (Alba), 19 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, along with her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son Bruno (Pat), and daughters Anna, Angelina (Rick), and Sandra, her mother Liberata and Father Emilio, sister Luisa, and brothers Vincenzo and Donato. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Juravinski Hospital for their compassion and care and Dr. Mukherjee at the Juravinski Cancer Centre for taking care of our mom so well during her battle with cancer. A visitation for Francesca will be held Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 and 7:00PM to 9:00 PM at Cresmount Funeral Home - Fennell Chapel, 322 Fennell Ave East. A prayer service will occur from 8:30 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at St. Margaret Mary, 20 Idlewood Avenue, Hamilton, followed by interment at Bayview Cemetery, 740 Spring Gardens Road, BURLINGTON, Ontario.
