Dearotha Lewis-Humphrey

Dearotha Lewis-Humphrey, age 70, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away Monday August 25, 2019. Dearotha was born September 7, 1948 in Bowling Green, Ky., to the late Zach Lewis and Mary Helen Davidson. A funeral service for Dearotha will be held 11:00 am, Friday, September 6, 2019, Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home Peoples' Chapel, 5252 East 38th Street, Indianapolis, IN., with visitation taking place from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am., at the Funeral Home. Minister Tehran Kendall will deliver the Eulogy. Interment will follow at Sutherland Park Cemetery, 4201 Millersville Road, Indianapolis, Indiana. Along with her parents, Dearotha was preceded in death by three brothers: Myron Martin, Glen Martin, and Neal Martin; one sister, Norma Kendall. She leaves cherished memories to her stepmom, Permma Lewis; four brothers Rev. Reginald Lewis, Craig Lewis, Zach Lewis Jr. and Charles Martin II; three sisters, Bertie Lewis, Wanda Hines and Joslynn Taylor. A host of other special relatives and friends. A very special thanks to Aunt Janice Simpson and Uncle Harlis Davidson. Following the Interment at Sutherland Park Cemetery, a repast will be held at Carters Memorial Church.
