Clarence was born in Brook Village, to Bill and Marie (Beaton) McDaniel on Aug. 25, 1949 Although he had spent most of his life as a hard rock miner from B.C. to nt., where ever he went, he made life-long friends. He never lost his love for the place of his birth. It was always a pleasure to have him come home with his mining stories and his larger than life personality. He was always playing jokes on any of the poor siblings who came across his path. It was hard for his Mom to keep her apron strings tied when he was around. We have so many fond memories of him. He finally settled in Burdett, Alta., a small community, where he met some wonderful friends who loved him and he was at peace. Clarence is survived by Colin McDaniel, Port Hood; Mary Claire (Charlie) MacDonald, Port Hood; Elizabeth (Wayne) Watson, Brookfield, N.S; Gerry (Cheryl) Port Hawkesbury, Francis (Anne Marie), Brook Village. He is also survived by his former wife Dolly McDaniel and his son Grant McDaniel, Port Hood, sons, Leonard McDaniel, The Pas, Man.; Ashley McDaniel and Chris McDaniel, Lloydminster, Sask; seven nieces and sixteen nephews Along with his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Matt, Sam, Ronnie and sister in-law, Hughena McDaniel Visitation will be held in St. John the Baptist Church, Brook Village on Tuesday Feb, 12, from 12-1:45 with Funeral Mass to follow at 2 p.m., Fr.
