Ida Bell Jones

Ida Bell (Chandler) Jones, 85, passed away Monday, August 12, 2019 in Iowa Park, Texas. Visitation will be held at 9 AM on Saturday, August 17, 2019 in the chapel at Dutton Funeral Home with funeral services following at 10 AM in the chapel. Graveside services will follow at Highland Cemetery in Iowa Park. Ida Bell was born on May 16, 1934 in Seymour, Texas to Johnny and Ruth (Crouch) Chandler. She married Earl Jones in December of 1959 in Seymour. Ida Bell was a Seamstress. She was a long-time member of Faith Baptist Church of Iowa Park where she taught Sunday School and sang in the church choir. Ida Bell is preceded in death by her husband and her parents. Surviving relatives include her son, Edward Jones and wife, Lisa of Van Buren, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Tina Bublitz and Melissa Jones; 3 great grandchildren; brother, Jimmy Chandler; sister, Elaine Owen; sister, Johnnie Mae Skinner and husband, Raymond; brother, Gerald Chandler and wife, Winona; brother, George Chandler and wife, Janice; brother, Eddie Chandler and wife, Beverly; brother, Belvin Chandler and wife, Shirley; and several nieces and nephews.
