Lova Medders Matchell

Lova M. Matchell, 94, of Jackson, Tennessee, formerly of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 12:34 P.M. June 11, 2019 at Maplewood Health Care Center in Jackson, Tennessee. She was born March 14, 1925 in Mount Vernon, Illinois to the late Ethel Mae (Malin) Summers. She married Glen Medders on March 22, 1947. They were blessed with fifty years of marriage before he preceded her in death on April 9, 1997. She later married Howard Matchell in September 2000 in Jackson, Tennessee. They were blessed with nearly nineteen years of marriage. In addition to her husband, Lova is survived by her son, Terry Miller and wife, Sarah (Sally) of Dalton City, Illinois; brother, Donald Summers of Mount Vernon, Illinois; sister, Barbara Bryant of Ohio; four grandchildren, Nathan Barr, Tony Miller, Tim Miller, and William Miller all of Dalton City, Illinois A Graveside Service will be held at Monday, June 17, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at Hams Grove Cemetery in Opdyke, Illinois. Interment will follow.
