Robert C. Shaneyfelt

Robert C. “Bob” Shaneyfelt, 71 of Carmichaels died Wednesday, July, 10, 2019 in Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Waynesburg. He was born March 9, 1948 in Clarksville, East Bethlehem Township, Washington County, a son of the late William J. “Bud” and Margaret A. Luft Shaneyfelt. Bob was a 1967 graduate of Beth Center High School. He worked as a labored for J & S Sanitation from 1988 to 1998 and then for Waste Management from 1998 to his retirement in 2008. Bob loved oldies music, fishing, high school sporting events, the Pittsburgh Pirates and Pittsburgh Steelers and WWE wrestling. He had attended the Clarksville Christian Church at one time. Bob had formerly lived in the Clarksville and Vestaburg areas. On June 6, 1998 he married Carole Sue Headley, who survives. Surviving in addition to his wife Carole are three siblings, Linda Pinkney of Marianna, William Shaneyfelt of New Stanton, and Thomas Shaneyfelt of Clarksville; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Deceased in addition to his parents are a brother, Gerald W. Shaneyfelt; three sister-in-laws, Bonnie Shaneyfelt, Mary Frances Shaneyfelt and Leanna Rogers; a nephew, William Shaneyfelt Jr. Friends will be received Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Rd., Jefferson, PA 15344, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Betty Riecks officiating. Interment will follow in Horn Cemetery, Marianna.
