Raymond N. Yates

Raymond Noble Yates, 80, of Johnstown, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at his residence. He was born on April 29, 1938 in Louisa, KY, a son to the late Clarence and Rhoda (Wheeler) Yates. Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Wilma Yates; children, William (Mary) Yates, Rhonda Adams and Joell (Don) Kanode; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Lowell and James (Cheryl) Yates and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his son, Gregory Dale Yates. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at CROUSE-KAUBER-FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, 225 N. Main St., Johnstown, OH 43031. Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Dewhurst officiating. Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery.
