Irma Nadine Jones

Irma Nadine Jones, 86 years of age, passed away on June 7, 2019, with her family by her side. She was born on May 28, 1933 in Clear Springs, Missouri. Daughter of Jess and Nora Story. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, and being outdoors with family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all. Preceded in death by her son, Steven Crum, four sisters and four brothers. She is survived by her husband Gaylon Jones of Shawnee, Kansas, daughters Loretta Pierce (Keith), Rebecca Waner (Mike). Stepdaughters, Sherri Jones (Richard), and Theresa Killian (John). Her grandchildren Carol “Carrie” Crum, Jenny Lindbloom, Preston Pierce, Travis Waner, Brian Killian and Jamie Spencer. Also missed by 8 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Her sister Melba Rothermich (Tom) of Willow Springs, Missouri, her sisters-in-law Lousie Grubb of Pasadena, Texas, Nadine Nelson, Merriam, Kansas, Pauline Shelley, Lenexa, Kansas, Allene Champ, Lenexa, Kansas, and Ann Zaudke, Overland Park, Kansas, her brothers-in-law Carl Jones of Lawrence, Kansas, Vernon Jones, Overland Park, Kansas and many nieces and nephews. Irma and Gaylon Jones have been very active participates in the Abdallah Shriners and ask in lieu of flowers that memorial donations be made to the Abdallah Shrine, In Memory of Irma Jones, 5300 Metcalf Avenue, Overland Park, Kansas 66202.
