Kevin Ray Caldwell

On June 2, 2019, Kevin R. Caldwell passed away at the age of 57. Kevin was born on May 19, 1962, in North Kansas City, Missouri to Keith and Janice Caldwell. He graduated from Center High School and worked at MW Company LLC. He graduated from MCC Business & Technology. On January 26, 2007 Kevin married Nelda Simbulan Caldwell. They have one child, Alden. Kevin was most proud of his wife and son and enjoyed doing many things with them. His passions included Dale Earnhard, Sr. and Kevin Harvick from NASCAR, the New York Yankees, the Chiefs, the band The Who and Civil War. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile, and his kind and compassionate spirit. Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Keith. He is survived by his wife, Nelda; his precious son, Alden; mother, Janice; brother, Robert; sister, Kelli; two aunts, an uncle, two nieces, a nephew, great-nieces, great-nephews, his cat, Baby and his nephew dogs. A Visitation will occur from 11:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. on Saturday, June 8 followed by a 12:00p.m. Funeral Service at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, Missouri, at 12:00p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made for his son Alden.
