Marilyn Grace York, 76, Kansas City, MO, passed peacefully October 1, 2019 at Liberty Hospital. A Celebration of Life service for family and friends will be 2:00 PM Saturday, October 5th at the home of Jason and Allyson Mitchell, 5126 SE 33 Highway, Lathrop, MO 64465. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Des Moines, Iowa. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Cleo and Delia Collins, a brother Richard Collins, and 2 sisters, Sherrill Collins and Judith Collins. Survivors include Ronald L. York, Jr. and wife, Nancy; daughter, Cheryl Mitchell and husband Norman; a sister, Teggie Collins; 6 grandchildren, Brittney, Troy, Devin, Jason, Blake and Rachel; and 7 great grandchildren, Ryder, Julian, Lily, Rowen, Isabelle, Addison and Sophia; and a “daughter of the heart”, Dianna Chance.
