Nicholas Albert Leppla

Nicholas Albert Leppla, beloved son of Craig and Nancy Leppla, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2019. Nick also leaves behind his sister Erika and brother Christopher. Nick was about to start his senior year at Keene State College where he majored in computer science and played on the rugby team. He was a graduate of Fairfield Warde High School where he enjoyed wood shop and was a member of the indoor and outdoor track teams. Nick enjoyed skiing, vacations with his family, working out at the gym, life guarding at Lake Hills and spending time with his friends from Keene. In his earlier years, Nick spent many happy summers at Camp Quinipet. In addition to Nick’s immediate family, survivors include his grandparents, Albert and Anita Boeschen and the late Frank and Joan Leppla, uncles and aunts Glenn and Linda Leppla, Gary and Elaine Mowry, Joseph and Alice Philips, and John and Arlene Dominick, and cousins Lauren and Alyson Leppla, Kristin and Matthew Mowry, Kasey, Kyle, Karlee and Christopher McConnell, and Hannah and Ryan Sheehan. Nick also leaves behind his dog Cosmo and many special friends in Keene and Fairfield. A memorial service to celebrate Nick’s life and our love for him will be held on Saturday, September 7 at 11 am at Fairfield Grace United Methodist Church, 1089 Fairfield Woods Road, Fairfield, CT. A memorial service will also be held at the Mabel Brown Room inside the Keene State College Student Center, 83/83 Blake Street, Keene, NH on Saturday, September 14 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fairfield Grace United Methodist Church or the charity of your choice.
