She was a dedicated mother first and foremost, known for her sweet soul and compassionate heart, which was the size of Texas. She was also an outstanding sister, aunt, and loving friend with a one-of-a-kind spirit! She was born October 1, 1954, in Manhattan, New York, where she lived proudly for over 40 years. She is survived by her spouse, Benjamin Goodman; children, John and Jeremy Cordero; sisters, Nancy Lee and Egda Stevens; nieces, Elizabeth Rosado and Jessica Barr; nephew, Jeffrey Rosado; as well as many great nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father, Enrique Suarez and mother, Rita Suarez. Drini was an active member of the PHA (Pulmonary Hypertension Association), serving as a Support Group Leader and volunteering at local events. She served as an active member of the Citizens' Patrol of Watauga and PF Warriors and was a hospice volunteer and a proud alumni officer of the Auxiliary Police Department at NYPD (New York Police Department). She enjoyed eating out with friends, was an avid Golden Girls fan, loved disco and Latin jazz music, and some of her favorite times were spent with her beloved family. "For none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself. For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's." ~Romans 14:7-8
