Obituary of Crystal Orlena Adams
Crystal Orlena Adams (Bird) Piizhew Doodem March 19, 1976 – March 7, 2018 It is with great sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Crystal Orlena Adams. She was a beloved Mother, Wife, Grandmother, Sister, Auntie and Friend. She was surrounded by family and friends as she passed peacefully at the Lake of the Woods District Hospital on March 7, 2018. Crystal is predeceased by her mom, Cindy, her brother Dale, Grandparents Fred and Victoria Jack, Frank and Rosie White and nephew Malcolm. She will be lovingly missed by her husband Terrence Bird, her Father Allan (Karen), her sons Brayden and Peyton, Daughters Lauren (Justin) and Allyson, Granddaughter Jazzy. Sisters Alexandria (Allen), Larissa (son SJ), Alana (Keith), Tanya (Bob), Ally (Teg). Brothers, Jon, Randell, Mitch (Rhonda), Mark, Step-sons Lucien and Tyrell. She will be loving missed by her adopted mother, Clarise or Dolly she would call her, father Rick, aunty Sally, uncle Bill, many relatives in the Sioux Lookout area. She leaves left to mourn are numerous family members and friends, and her best friends Shannon & Jacky. Crystal had a passion for her children, they were her heart and soul, she was always overjoyed with their achievements, she was a very proud mother, she was ecstatic when her first grandchild was born, baby Jazzy. She will be missed by her husband & best friend, who would make her laugh with his crazy antics, Terry. They shared the passion for the outdoors, he taught her things she didn’t know, like plowing, stringing up a fishing line, he taught her to be independent in doing things, they both loved being on the lake. Crystal will be remembered as a gentle, loving, caring person with a big heart of gold. She also had a passion for fishing (anytime of the year), golfing and attending bingo. She always loved community events, she also, enjoyed putting on fish derby’s, small bass tournaments, and volunteered for the Whitefish Bay Fall Bass Classic tournament, Northwest Angle#33 Pow-wow. She’d enjoy the company of family and friends. Wherever she went, Crystal always put a smile on everyone’s face. Crystal, we will miss you so much, you touched everyone’s hearts, rest easy. The family would like to acknowledge the Lake of the Woods District Hospital ICU department for their support, Naotkamegwanning First Nation & Health Services, Grand Council Treaty 3, the Kenora Chiefs Advisory, Education Authority, Northwest Angle #33. Traditional Funeral Services on Monday, March 12, 2018 at 11:00 am with interment to follow in Whitefish Bay at Frank White Road. Honorary pallbearers will be Jon, Mitch, Mark, Keith, Randell, Christian.
