Ella Mandamin

Ella Mandamin Ashagi Dotem February 21, 1939 – July 8, 2018 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Ella Mandamin, she was also a beloved sister, grandmother and great grandmother to many. Ella was predeceased by her parents Alex and Sadie Mandamin and her sisters Martha, Hazel, Mary Jane, Barbara, Elizabeth, Ethel, Gladys, Dorothy and her brothers Willy, James, Edward and Stephen, and Harvey. She leaves behind her last remaining sister, Sarah Jane. Ella leaves to mourn her passing, daughters, Lorraine (Vernon), Lorrie (Jim), Lisa (Lorne), Christina (Wayne) and son’s Gerald, Derrick and Calvin (Geraldine). She also leaves to mourn are her grandchildren; Aldora, Michael, Keith, Miles, Travis, Cory, Vincent, Calvin Jr., Geoff, Troy, Kerry, Victoria and Kristen. Ella also leaves many great Grandchildren, Kierstyn, Nate, Matthew, Ivy, Kai, Calla, Ella, Andrew, Jett, Jayde, Jonah, Omry, Breven, Zayde, Troy Jr, Romjin, Phylisa and Aletra. She also leaves to mourn many nieces and nephews. She loved them greatly and had great joy when she would see them. She had good relationships with them all. Ella was never the same after her grandson, Whalyn passed away on July 14, 2015. She missed him dearly, she often talked about how caring, and a lovable person he was. Ella loved all her grandchildren, who she all cared for during their early years of growing-up. She kept all of them with lots love and had great pride in their accomplishments in their educational and sports activities. Mom loved her crossword puzzles, puzzles, reading and listening to her music she had on cassettes and cd’s. She enjoyed watching her favourite game shows and hockey. Ella was very happy to see everyone who she crossed paths with and always greeted you with a loving friendly smile. Ella will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Wake Service will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 beginning at 12:00 pm at the Shoal Lake Community Hall. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 10:00 am at the Shoal Lake Community Hall with burial to follow.
