Mark Anthony Branner

Pfc. Mark Anthony Branner, age 65 of Kingsport, entered into the glories of Heaven during the evening hours of July 17, 2019. Mark was born on July 3, 1954 in Newport, TN to James and Margarett Branner. Mark proudly and bravely served his country in the United States Navy for over 21 years where he served as a firefighter. After retiring from the US Navy, Mark started working in the communications field as a computer technician. Mark enjoyed gardening and spending quality time with his family. He loved tinkering around with old clocks and automobiles and building bird houses. Mark was preceded in death by his father; and one daughter, LeAsiah. He is survived by his wife of four years, Tamika Branner; sons, Ivan Curtis (Kandi), Mark Anthony Dale Branner Jr. and fiancé Hannah, Paul Waller, Jullian Price, and Ricco Campbell; daughters, Rene Hiller (Edward), Shelanda Branner Bevelle Ellis, Iris Sconion, Miracle Branner, Rosalyn Waller, and Ashley Price; brothers, Steven Branner and Ricky Branner (Valerie); 22 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his mother, Margarett Branner; one brother-in-law; one-sister-in-law; mother-in-law, Rosalie Miles; his first wife, Mona Branner; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
