Mr. Charles E. Knapp

Charles Earl Knapp was born on July 1, 1939, in Lakeland, Florida. On October 2, 2019, surrounded by his loving family, he went to be with his Lord and Savior. He is survived by his children, Mary Nolan and husband Joel; Michael Knapp and wife Dee; Lori Reed and husband Eddy; Tara Doyle and husband David. His grandchildren are Jackson and Elisa Nolan; Brandon and Josh Knapp; Travis Knapp and wife Kendall ; Kyras, Jessa, and Craig Reed; Brady, Savanna, and Emma Doyle. He is also survived by his sister Donna Jean Williams and her husband Gareth. Chuck was known as a man of intellect who greatly enjoyed using his mind. He began his career as a Chemical Engineer, but when he got the chance to work with computers, he became a self-taught Computer Engineer. He looked forward to going to work every day because he truly loved the mental stimulation. However, Chuck’s great love was his family, especially his grandchildren. He was known for his deep faith and love of people. He saw opportunities everywhere and was known to say, “What’s the point in being here if you can’t help people?” He will be truly missed.
