Carolyn L. Heins

Carolyn Lavada Heins passed away Wednesday August 7, 2019 at her home. She was born February 27, 1935 to the late Hap and Lily (Poff) Ward. She married Duane Heins February 21, 1960 in Kokomo. He survives her. Carolyn graduated from Kokomo high school and worked at Kingston products and a few other factory's in her years. She loved her kids very much, and they all turned out well. Carolyn was a fine cook and a very good sewer. She went to Baptist church and later attended Center Methodist at Young America. She has three sons, Frank, Fred and Greg Heins, four grandchildren, Bethany, Christen, Andrew and Emily, five great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Parks, Anna Bell, Jaxson and Everly Heins. She had three brothers who have passed before her, Charles, Floyd and Andy, and sisters, Ana May, Alma, Philis, Evelyn, Lettie, and LaDonna. Funeral services for Carolyn will take place at Ellers Mortuary Main Street Chapel on Monday, August 12, 2019 at 1:00pm with Pastor John Newman officiating. Friends and family will gather from 11am to 1pm prior to the service. Burial will take place at Kokomo Memorial Park Cemetery.
