Jeffrey Wayne Weeks

Jeffrey Wayne Weeks 60, Kokomo, died 10:30pm, Thursday, August 15, 2019, at his home. Born September 12, 1958, in Kokomo, In, he was the son of Ada Mae (Lawrence) and JW Weeks. He loved hunting, fishing, and playing his guitar, piano, our Father's harmonica and singing. He loved family gatherings and he had such a joyful spirit. He battled prostate cancer for over five years but, always kept his joyful spirit. He loved singing and playing his gospel hymns and praising the Lord in his last days here on earth. In his final days he asked many times through our conversation what I thought Heaven would be like! His main focus was on meeting with Jesus and that his family would be alright. He is survived by his children which include two sons, Chad Weeks, Wesley Weeks, daughters, Corey (Weeks) Dempsey, Amanda Weeks. Others survivors are sisters, Barbara A. and husband Tim Tranbarger, and Joan A. Weeks. He had a host of beautiful grandchildren and along with them were many wonderful nieces and nephews whom he thought the world of. He was proceeded in death by his parents and a loving sister, Pasty L Brumfiel. A Celebration of life will be planned at a later date. Prayers for the family are appreciated.
