Andrew Fredrick Jackson

It is with great sadness we announce that Fred passed away peacefully at Langley Memorial hospital on November 19, 2018 due to complications following a long battle with diabetes. Fred is predeceased by his parents and loving wife Lesley. He is survived by his daughter Krista (Phil) stepdaughter Lori and grandsons dustin and dalton. Also survived by his brothers Pat (Nancy) Michael (Rosie) and sister Tina (John) plus many nieces and nephews. Fred was a devoted father, husband, brother and friend. He was cheerful (sometimes cheeky) generous and kind. He is missed greatly by all who knew him. Fred was born in Vancouver and then lived the majority of his life in Fort Langley. As a lifetime member of the Fort Langley Lions and Loafers Hot Rod club he contributed greatly to fundraising and community events and was a big fixture in Fort Langley. After a long successful career with Woodward’s Fred eventually opened Fred Wines with his wife and operated it for almost 20 years with the help of his daughter. Fred loved his time living in Fort Langley with Lesley and dogs Barney and Bailey. He made many life long friendships from his time there and will be in our hearts forever. A celebration of life will take place March 3 at 1:00pm at the Fort Langley Lions Hall (23022 88th Ave)
