Linda Gwynneth Steier

Linda Gwynneth Steier,66, of Langley BC, passed away June 25, 2019, with her family by her side. She was born to Gwynneth and Walter Felix (predeceased), February 1, 1953, in Vancouver, BC. Linda graduated from Templeton High School in 1971, she worked with her father at W Felix Construction prior to getting married and relocating to Prelate, Saskatchewan in 1975. Linda is survived by her two Sons, Clinton & Ashley, her Sister Dorothy & Brother Robert and a host of other family members and friends. Linda was a dedicated mother first and foremost. Her commitment to her boys was unwavering; she overcame many obstacles to ensure she was here to raise two good men. Linda was also deeply committed to her community. Her selfless attitude led her to receive the 1996 Langley Citizen of the year, numerous Outstanding Achievement Awards from Fraser Health, and have a Scholarship named in her honour from her beloved Penny Pincher. She spent almost 20 years with the Langley Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and was a key member of the team that built the foundation for current and future success. A Celebration of Life will be held on July 13, 2019 from 11:00 – 3:00 at Newlands Golf & Country club, 20125 48th Avenue, Langley, BC. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you volunteer in your Community, in Linda’s honour, or donate to the Langley Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
