Kathleen Patricia Drum

Kathleen Patricia Drum, 78, of Lake Oswego, Oregon, passed peacefully on Sunday, June 3rd, 2019 with her two daughters and husband by her side while in the compassionate care of Nathan Adelson Hospice of Southern Nevada. Born August 9, 1940, in Los Angeles, California to two Irish immigrants, John William Lynch and Bridget Agnes (Kinneavy) Lynch. She is survived by her sister, Mary Theresa Alexander, husband of 53 years, James Francis Drum, two daughters, Maureen Clare Drum Pulicella and Patricia Ann Drum Lal, four grandchildren, Lauren Taylor Pulicella Wirth, Colin James Pulicella, Rohan James Lal, Declan Makena Lal and Great Grandson, Grayson George Wirth. A loving mother and homemaker, Kathy was a remarkable hostess and cook. She enjoyed preparing meals and throwing parties for her family and friends. She was a natural nurturer. She taught first grade for several years before becoming a full time mother She was a dedicated and loyal daughter, wife, mother and “Peeka” to her grandchildren. Kathy loved family and always put them first. She enjoyed reading books, going out to lunch with her girlfriends, spending time with her grandchildren and sitting in her backyard with her husband watching the birds. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. A funeral mass will be celebrated Friday, June 14th at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City, California with a Rosary Vigil held the night before on Thursday.
