Mary Krause

Born in Bielin, Lubelskie, Poland to John and Dorothea Schafrick. Mary passed away peacefully at Extendicare at the age of 94 in Leduc, AB. She leaves behind her daughter Debbie, sisters Olga Hodge and Wanda Greene, along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is predeceased by parents John and Dorothea, husband Edward, daughter Marlene(Marilyn) sisters Lydia, Martha, Frieda and Emma. Mary immigrated to Canada from Poland on November 26, 1927 with sisters Lydia and Martha. The Family settled in the Gardenview area near Barrhead, AB. Mary married Edward Krause on March 19, 1946 and settled on a farm near Leduc, AB. They had two children, Marlene (Marilyn) and Debbie. Mary moved to Leduc October 20, 2012 and in November 2017 moved to Extendicare.
