Whitten, Jimmie Dale, age 69, of Trussville, AL passed on Friday, September 6, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents, Tilmon and Erlene Whitten; sister, Mary Ruth Johnson and brothers, Tommy Whitten, Billy Whitten and Terry Joe Whitten. Mr. Whitten is survived by his wife, Pat Diane Whitten; sons, Jimmy Dale Whitten, Jr. (April), Christopher Scott Whitten, and Timothy Shane Whitten; sister, Sarah Catherine Kennedy; grandchildren, Ashley, Alec, Andrew, Christopher, Coty, Colton, and Caden and great grandchildren, Ryan and Ava. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 9, 2019 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds from 6:00PM until 8:00Pm. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church beginning at 11:00AM with burial to follow at Sulphur Springs Cemetery.
