Obituary of Lawrence N. "Neil" & Elizabeth S. "Betty" Knight
Lawrence N. “Neil” Knight Sr. of Lake Stevens, Washington, born on July 4, 1928 in Everett, Washington to the late Lola E. and Cecil B. Knight passed away peacefully on April 10, 2019. Neil was the loving husband of Elizabeth S. “Betty” Knight. He is survived by his daughter, Lynda and sons Lawrence N. “Larry” (Lisa) and Jeffry P. (Patsy). In addition to his children he is survived by five grandchildren; Michael, Kristopher (Jessica), Nicholas (Suezanne), Morgan (Paul) and Amanda (Jason) and six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Betty, of 64 years, just five and one-half months ago. They are together once again… The family is proud of Neil’s service and sacrifice while in the United States Army from 1950 - 1953. Elizabeth S. "Betty" Knight, of Lake Stevens, Washington, born on May 13, 1935 in Park Falls, Wisconsin, to the late Clarence M. and Elizabeth W. MacDonald, passed away unexpectedly at home on October 27, 2018. Betty was the loving wife of Lawrence N. "Neil" Knight. She is survived by Neil, her daughter Lynda and sons, Lawrence N. "Larry" (Lisa) and Jeffry P. (Patsy). She is survived by two sisters Kathryn Hughes and Carol Cauley, five grandchildren; Michael, Kristopher (Jessica), Nicholas (Suezanne), Morgan (Paul) and Amanda (Jason) and 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Nancy Porter. She was a 60 year member of Eastern Star and Past Worthy Matron. A Celebration of Life and Reception will be held at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills, 409 Filbert Road, Lynnwood, WA on Monday, May 13, 2019, beginning at 11:00am.
