Sarita A. Colon

Sarita Colon, 45 years of age passed away peacefully late evening on Friday, July 12th at Southern Ocean Medical Center surrounded by her family and loved ones. She is survived by her spouse of 15 years Kenneth Colon and their three beautiful daughters; Yasmin, Skye and Jadyn; the beloved sister to Shane Formica and wife Joanne, Barry Formica and wife Amanda and Daniel Formica; beloved Aunt to Andrew & Amelia Formica, Travis & Olivia Formica, Keira Formica, Evan Colon and Cristiano Gallo, Giavanna & Arianna Colon. She is also survived by her loving parents, Ronald and Sandra Formica. Sarita was born in Ipswich, England on June 18th, 1974 and came over to the U.S. in the year 2000. Sarita really enjoyed spending time with her family and close friends and was a very proud mother, sister and aunt. She worked at Southern Ocean Medical Center since 2001 as a Unit Secretary and will be remembered by all of her coworkers as being loving, friendly and giving her all every day including her big beautiful smile. A special thank you goes out to friends and staff at Southern Ocean Medical Center for taking such attentive care. Funeral Services will be held at Thos. L. Shinn Funeral Home 10 Hilliard Dr., Manahawkin, NJ on Sunday, July 21st open to the public from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM and a private reception to follow for family.
