Julia Loraine Kiker

Julia Loraine Kiker, age 93, of Marshville, went home to be with the Lord on May 18, 2019. She was born in Union County on July 14, 1925, daughter of the late Roy Williams and Odessa Bailey Williams. Loraine was preceded in death by her two sons, Shelton Whitley and Lanny Whitley; her sisters, Eula W. Thomas and Edith W. Sutton; her brothers, Olin Williams and Clegg Williams. She is survived by her husband, Paul Thomas Kiker; her sons, Dennis Whitley (Darlene) and Tim Kiker (Karen); her daughter, Paula Kiker Hinson (David); her daughters-in-law, Bobbi Swinson and Becky Thomas Whitley; her eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and her brother, David Williams. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Saturday, May 25, 2019 at McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Julia Loraine Kiker will be 2:00pm Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Forest Hills Baptist Church, 2006 Willis Long Road, Monroe, NC 28110. Interment will follow in Lakeland Memorial Park. McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Kiker.
