John Douglas Lee

John Douglas Lee, 66 of Montgomery Alabama, passed away the morning of May 22, 2019 at Capitol Hill Healthcare & Rehab Center after recovering from heart surgery. Born in Augusta, Georgia on June 1st 1952 to A.P. Lee and Lorene Kemp Lee. John is survived by his sister, Charlene Boyd; his niece, Helen Boyd; his nephew, Frankie Boyd; his brother, Larry Boles and close friends. John served in the United States Air Force and graduated Auburn University with a degree in Criminal Justice. John Douglas Lee proudly served the community of Montgomery County Alabama as a Sheriff for 22 years. John was a beautiful soul that loved his family, his friends, baseball ⚾ and genealogy. He was a quiet person and was always very accepting and generous with his love. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. We will always carry your memory in our hearts.
