Mary, Theresa, Michelle and family,

Been procrastinating on this because I just don’t know what to say. Don was my first “boss” at the campground but more a second dad. I will always have fond memories of the Bergeron family. Don standing out back and if people stopped by, he’d say “ You ready for a cold one?” and reach into the ice machine and hand out a cold RED, WHITE and BLUE. The shenanigans that were pulled by either Don or my dad. The countless times cutting wood, fixing up pick nick tables and cookouts. May you all find peace knowing that he is no longer suffering and he is now with your mom. I love you all and wish I could hug your pain away. My thoughts and prayers are with you!

Mary, We met your Dad only one time but he was a very impressive soul. So happy, content, always thinking of the other person. He was fun and comfortable to be around. I wish we could have gotten to know him better. May your grief be short....your memories numerous and happy ones. We love you, good friends. Walk with God.

Thinking of all of you at this difficult time. Knowing his suffering is over and your mom has been reunited now with your dad. Very good memories at the campground and other special events etc. God bless all of you,

Big Grandpa,

I can remember back as far as the campground. Riding in the golf cart and the Easter egg hunts! I can remember always being excited to see you and Grandma! Cooking in the kitchen with grandma, then going outside to play croquet. I remember all the uno games and staying up late to play Shanghai Rummy! Getting wooden birthday cakes for our birthday and all the smiley faces! Grandpa, you will be greatly missed by all of us. We will always cherish all of the memories we have with you. We were blessed to have the opportunity to call you our Grandpa. Mason will greatly miss you!

We love you and miss you,

Ashley, Mason and Benjamin Nutter

I was a former son-in-law for 14 years.
I knew this man as a person who always put his family first, and the very first to offer a hand when help was needed.
Thanks, Dad, may you eternally rest in peace.
