Ralph M. Porco Sr.

Ralph M. Porco of West Nyack passed away peacefully on April 15, 2019 surrounded by family. He was 81 years old. Mr. Porco was born and raised in the Bronx, NY and lived in West Nyack for 50 years with his wife Eleanor Porco. Ralph was a Veteran of the US Army serving his country for six years in which his service earned him a good conduct medal. He was a member of the Welfare Fund International Union of Operating Engineers, retiring in 2000. Ralph is survived by his loving wife, Eleanor Porco of 57 years, his daughter Gina Niglia and her husband Frank, Elena and her husband Victor and a son Ralph Porco Jr. and his wife Lisa. He is also survived by his seven loving granddaughters, Amanda, Melissa, Kristin, Susan, Christina, Nicole, Samantha and his sister Louise Oliveri and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sisters Mary Pucciarelli, Rose Lupo, Eleanor Scuderi, his brothers Louis Porco and Joseph Porco and his parents Michael and Anna Porco. The visitation will be on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 from 2-4 p.m. and from 7 -9 p.m. at the Michael K. Higgins Funeral Service in New City, NY. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. at the St. Anthony’s Church in Nanuet, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request considering a donation to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
