Rockie S. Mumphrey

Rockie S. Mumphrey, 88, of Metairie, Louisiana, passed away on March 29, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam Mumphrey and Mary P. Mumphrey; sisters, Bernice Ward and Lee Avacato. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Ann Pace Mumphrey; sons, Rockie (Judy), Joey (Brenda), and Mark (Nathalie); grandchildren, Brad Mumphrey, Erin Bergeron (Michael), Nicole Miles (Phillip), Stacie Carrier (Kyle), Evan Mumphrey, Roxanne Kingston (Trevor), and Robin Gonzales (Eddie); seven great grandchildren; sisters, Frances Mollere and Jeannie Black (Jerry); and numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral mass on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain, New Orleans. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. and a graveside service will follow the mass at All Saints Mausoleum.
