Marlene Sue Ward

Norwich-Marlene Sue Ward, age 62, of Norwich, passed away at Yale New Haven Hospital on October 3, 2019. She was born in Hartford City, Indiana on November 22, 1956 to the late Gordon and Peggy (Wickerhsam) Cordell. Marlene was active in her community donating her time to several organizations, and conducting many benefits. She belonged to a pool league and enjoyed playing bingo. She is survived by three sons Michael Hall of Columbia, Chad Allen Hall of Alabama, and Jason Hall of Baltic. She also leaves behind grandchildren Faye, Grace, Lucas, Jason Jr. Jacob, Julianna, Shaun, Gabby and Gavin, brothers Jim, Jeff and Dave Cordell and sisters Deb Logan and Samantha Bruggeman as well as seven nephews and five nieces. Family and friend may visit Labenski Funeral Home, 107 Boswell Ave, Norwich on Thursday from 3:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at which time there will be a celebration of life service.
