Michelle Belote

On Sunday, September 29th, 2019, Michelle Christine Belote, loving wife and mother of two children, passed away at the age of 44 after a hard-fought three-year battle with breast cancer. Michelle was born on February 18, 1975 in Oklahoma City to Mel and Trudy (Woodmansee) Braden. On April 7th, 2001, she married Django Belote, her former lab partner from paramedic school. They have one daughter, Abigail, and one son, Ethan. Michelle received her Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Southern Nazarene University in 2006 and her Real Estate license in 2016. She worked at Select Specialty Hospital as the Materials Manager for 19 years. Michelle had a passion for two things, her family and getting things done. She was organized, driven, and had very high standards. She got great joy in arranging extravagant events for friends and coworkers. She loved to travel to tropical locations, loved everything Disney, and could spend hours watching Hallmark movies and reruns of Friends. Other favorites were Chip & Joanna Gaines, The Pioneer Woman, and music by Carrie Underwood, Point of Grace, and Sandi Patty. She loved her children more than anything, and surely still does. She is survived by her husband Django, her two children, Abigail and Ethan, her parents Mel and Trudy, her sister Melissa and husband Mark, a nephew Luke, a niece Lauren, four great nieces and nephews Jonathan, Shiann, Westin, and Addilyn, several cousins, and her beloved chihuahua named Daisy. Funeral services will be held at Crossings Community Church in the Chapel on Friday, October 4th at 11 am. Viewing will be before the service and immediately following the service.
