William Albert Hilger

William Albert Hilger, age 88 passed away on Sunday May 12, 2019. William was born November 22, 1930 In Shenandoah, IA, to William and Alberta Hilger. Bill served in the Air Force and Air Force reserves, after his military service Bill attended Iowa University and worked for United of Omaha in data processing for over 35 years. His interests including traveling, bowling, and playing bridge. Bill is preceded in death by his 3rd wife Roberta (Bobbie) Hilger. Bill is survived by his loving children, Brian Hilger, Denise Hilger; siblings, Joanne (Clinton) Starke, Duane (Barbara) Hilger; Grandson, Vincent Hilger; 5 great-grandchildren; Ex-wife and good friend, Sharon Hilger; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Westlawn Hillcrest funeral home from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Funeral celebration of life will be 1:00 pm May 19, 2019 at Westlawn Hillcrest Funeral Home, 5701 Center St. Omaha, NE 68106.
