Debra A. Klein

Debra A. Klein, 66, of Otego passed away peacefully Friday, May 3, 2019, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 11, 1952, in Delhi to the late Morris and Genevieve (Dorosky) Chichester. A life-long area resident, she married Richard Klein on July 16, 1995. Debra worked for the Unatego Central School District for over 30 years as a teaching assistant and as a bus driver. She loved the outdoors, mowing the lawn, as well as camping and fishing. Debra also had an artistic talent working with stained glass and painting in her spare time. She is survived by her loving husband Richard Klein of Otego; her son Jason Berge (Laurie Burns) of Bloomville; her daughter Annie (Kelley) Judd of Fort Collins, CO; her son Aaron (Jesse) Berge of Otego; her 3 loving grandchildren, Seth Berge, Regan Berge and Kynlee Judd. Debra was predeceased by her brother Mark Chichester. Calling hours will be held Friday, May 10, 2019 from 5 to 7 PM in the Bookhout Funeral Home, 357 Main Street, Oneonta, N.Y. at which time the family will be in attendance. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Debra A. Klein will be held at a later date.
