Nancy J. Meade
July 24, 1952 – August 30, 2019

Nancy J. Meade, 67 of Oneonta, passed peacefully on Friday, August 30, 2019 at home in Oneonta, surrounded by family.
She was born in Corry, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Donald and Myrtle (Scott) Ruslink. She married William “Bill” L. Meade on August 19, 1978. He predeceased her on December 12, 2017.
Nancy was a graduate of SUNY Oneonta. She retired after many years employed with Opportunities for Otsego and SUNY Oneonta in the Milne Library.
She is survived by her son Brian (Lea) of Long Island; her daughter Alison of Oneonta; her grandchildren, Thomas, Taylor, and Elliana; and her siblings, Bill Ruslink, Marge (Jack) Skinner, Carol (Rob) Glasier, and Donna Deck. She was also deeply loved by her brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
She was also predeceased by her sister in law, Sherry Ruslink; and brother in law, Jack Deck.
Friends are invited to greet the family on Thursday, September 5, 2019 from 6 to 8 pm at the Lester R. Grummons Funeral Home, 14 Grand Street, Oneonta.
A funeral service will take place on Friday, September 6, 2019 at 11 am at the Elm Park United Methodist Church, 401 Chestnut Street, Oneonta, with Rev. Donna Martin officiating.
Burial will take place following in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Emmons.
