Raleigh "Sandy" Tyrus Johnson, Sr., 58, of Winter Park, Florida passed away on September 14, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Sandy was born on March 12, 1961 in Columbus. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a sales specialist in the automotive industry. Sandy was known for being a family man and the "Life of the Party". He was a 'Bama fan and enjoyed playing golf, shooting pool and singing karaoke. Sandy had a love for cars and trucks. He is survived by his beloved wife, Carole Johnson; sons, Raleigh and Roman Johnson, Duane, Alex and Andrew Hathcox; daughter, Candace Gutierrez; stepmom, Grace McCumber; brothers, Steve Purvis, Guy and John McCumber and grandchildren, Sienna, Titus and Adella Gutierrez, Penelope and Abigail Hathcox.
