John H. Mayer

John was born in New York, NY on October 10, 1927 to Herman and Catherine Mayer. John lived his life simple and made the most of what he had. John could accomplish anything he set his mind to do. Especially when it came to working on cars. John met the love of his life Gloria when he was in his twenties. They were devoted to each other and did everything together. They were married for 50 years! He loved watching his grandchildren and working on his boat. John enjoyed wood working, fishing, working on cars and watching TV. John is survived by 3 sons, 1 daughter and their spouses, John and Dhang Mayer, Steven and Linda Mayer, Michael and Mary Mayer, Cathy and Stephen Mott; 6 grandchildren, Nicolette, Stephen, Christopher, Gabriella, Christina, Cynda; and 1 great-granddaughter Kaiya.
