Irene Jennifer Perkin

PERKIN, Irene (nee Carey) Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Thursday, June 6th, 2019 in her 73rd year. Loving mother of Robert (Joy) and Kristal Prouty (Darryl). Dear grandmother to Brooke, Greg, Callum and Sarah. Survived by her siblings Judy Stalely (Darrell), Cindy Carey and Isabel Locke (Phil). Predeceased by her parents Frederick and Jennie Carey. She will be dearly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Monday, June 10th, 2019 from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. and on Tuesday, June 11th, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Thornton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Autism Society – Durham Chapter would be appreciated.
