Marie Michelle Calixte (née Joseph) Passed away after a lengthy illness on Sunday May 12, 2019. Beloved wife of Prosper Calixte. Loving mother of Montini (Tina), Marie (Leonard), Martin and Dominique. Cherished grandmother of Anthony, Kel, Delano, Jenessa, Devon, Nakaiyah, Brianna, Markus, Kaliyah, and Levi. Dear sister of Frantz, Luckner, Maurice, Irmine, Hernsly, Marie Paul, Monge, Henex, Franteisse and the late Marc-Pierre. Friends and family may pay their respects at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road on Friday May 31 from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be on Saturday June 1 at 9:30 am in Saint Thomas d'Aquin Church at 1244 Kilborn Place, Ottawa. The burial will take place at Hope Cemetery, 4660 Bank Street, Ottawa. The family insists that people make donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the May Court Hospice, in lieu of sending flowers.
