Frank Bardwell
January 21, 1930 – April 20, 2019

Frank Bardwell, 89, a lifelong resident of Prairie Village passed away on April 20th, 2019 with his loving family by his side.
Frank was a master grocer with Pay-Less Food and then later with Hen House Market at Corinth Square. Frank was in the grocery business for 64 years. He had many accomplishments during his years of service including the Master Grocer of the Year Award, Frank Bardwell Day at Hen House and on the day of his retirement, Frank, was awarded the Key to Prairie Village by the Mayor.
With the many hours and dedication to the grocery business, Frank still found time with his love of bicycling. He was in numerous bicycle magazine articles for his accomplishments of the many hours and miles. He often said, “I have gone around the world three times in miles.”
He was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Joyce.
He is survived by his daughter, Mindy Robertson and husband, Bill, of Gardner, Kansas and their three children, Drew Robertson and his wife, Cathy, Adam Robertson and wife, Jillian, and Sara Robertson; a son, David Bardwell and wife, Michelle, and their son, Joshua, of Creighton, Missouri.
