Margaret “Peg” Fowler It is with great sadness that the family of Peg Fowler announces her passing on September 6, 2019. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert and her sister Ruthe Nielsen. Peg will be remembered and loved by her children, Robert (wife Roni), Harry, Laurel, and Albert Douglas (wife Debbie); sister, Mary (husband Norris) Harding; Five Grandchildren: Kimberly, Gabe, Seth, Chad, and Bobby. Four great-grandchildren: A.J., Brandon, Kaitlyn, and Ethan and one great-great-grandchild: Jaxon. She was born May 16, 1926 in Newark, New Jersey. She began work at Jergens Company for $18 per week and then was an Executive Secretary for the Walter Kidde Corp and then was Owner of Pastyme, a plaster statue painting craft store in Massachusetts. She later became the Owner / Executive Secretary of RF Systems Inc. She was Past-President and member of the Sunshine Garden Club of Tuskawilla for 38 years and a member of the Tuskawilla Women’s Golf Group. She was a passionate artist who loved painting, all crafts, sewing, stain glass, china painting and crocheting. She donated over 15 afghans to orphan charities. She was an avid bridge player also. She volunteered at Winter Park Hospital, Winter Spring Rehab and St. Stephen Catholic Church. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 11, 2019 from 12-2 PM at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church with a Funeral Mass beginning at 2 PM. Interment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park in Winter Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dementia Society of America, P.O. Box 600, Doylestown, PA. 18901.
