Loving father of Peter Gerlings, John Gerlings (Michele), Betty Hurlbert (Vaughn) and Robert Gerlings (Renata). Dear grandfather of Jeremy (Melissa), Matthew (Katrina), Jason (Syndel), Bradley (Riley), Devon (Rene), Adam, Valerie, Vicki, Kelly and great grandfather of Weston, Bill, Tucker and John Michael.
