William Albert Hawks

Passed away peacefully at home on June 9, 2018 in his 71st year. Beloved husband of Linda Hawks. Cherished father of Tina Hawks. Proud grandfather of Tyson and Isaiah Hawks. Special uncle to Shannon (Hopcroft), Julie and Paul Middleton and golfing buddy to nephew Ryan Brockley. Will be fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Dear brother of Faith Cameron (Malcolm), Edward Hawks (Marlyn), Larry Hawks (Marilyn), and the late Rod and David Hawks. Brother-in-law of Donna Hopcroft (Gerry), the late Shirley Jones (survived by Bob) and the late Doug Lustic (survived by Lynda). William was active in the community, belonging to the Bonachords, Liftlock Band and St. Stephen’s Choir. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 from 2 – 4 & 7 – 9 p.m. at COMSTOCK-KAYE LIFE CELEBRATION CENTRE, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephen’s Presbyterian Church, 1140 St. Paul’s Street, Peterborough.
