Darlene A. Beaupre

Darlene Anne Wood Beaupre of Pompano Beach, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2019 at the age of 82. Born in Sinclair, Manitoba, Canada, to Euphemia and James Wood. Darlene was the youngest of seven children. Darlene moved to Pompano Beach in 1973. She worked over 30 years at Pompano Beach Elementary School. Fondly known as Ms. “B”, she loved her kids and missed them when she retired in 2003. She loved spending time with her family especially on annual trips to River Ranch where she enjoyed the rodeo, petting zoo, mini golf, and riding in the golf cart! She also enjoyed playing Bingo with her many friends, spoiling all the little neighborhood dogs, watching game shows, soap operas, and sports on TV. Darlene was predeceased by her parents, her twin brother Darle, also Bert, Lawrence, and sisters Irma and Phyllis. She is survived by sister Shirley, daughters; Lori Bronson (Steve) Karen Schmitt (Greg). Five grandchildren; Lindsay (Shanin), Stephan (Cybille), Tyler ( Molly), Meagan, Kyle, and four great-grandchildren; Shane, Blake, Nathan, and Ayla , also several nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched. A memorial gathering to be held on Sunday, August 18, 2019 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at Kraeer Funeral Home at 200 W. Copans Rd, Pompano Beach, FL 33064.
