Isabelle Rose Redford
March 11, 1937 – June 27, 2018

We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Isabelle Redford on June 27, 2018.
Isabelle will be missed by her husband Jim Redford, children Jayne Chase (Doug), John Redford,
and Karen Hoekstra (Frank), grandchildren Megan Chase, Rachel Hoekstra (Dwayne) and
Sydney Chase.
Isabelle was born in Humboldt Saskatchewan in 1937. Her family moved west in 1941 and eventually settled in Port Alberni in 1946 where she met and married her husband Jim Redford.
Isabelle was predeceased by her father Henry Rieder in 1987 and her mother Marie Rieder in 2008.
Isabelle spent a lifetime loved and supported by her brothers and sisters Marie Gillis (George), Bernie Pearce, Edith Kenny (Jack), Lorne Rieder (Carol), Bob Rieder (Judy), Rick Rieder (Brenda), Kathy Rieder and soul sister Dorothy Aston.
Isabelle will be remembered for her passion for travel, gardening, hiking, the arts and for her professional achievements while working as a personnel manager at the Alberni Pulp & Paper Mill.
In keeping with her love of social gatherings with friends and family, there will be a celebration of Isabelle’s life at 8867 Faber Road, in the gardens of her beloved Sproat lake home on July 21st from 2:00 – 4:00 pm
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in honor of Isabelle to The Ty Watson House Foundation. Stories and condolences may be left for the family at www.chapelofmemories.ca
