Audrey Celesta Rubnich

Audrey Celesta Rubnich, age 59, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2019 at the Halifax Health Hospice, in Port Orange, Fl. Audrey was born to Warren and Marilyn (Adams) Rubnich, on June 6, 1960, in Peoria, IL. She grew up in South Boston, Ma, graduated from South Boston High School. Attended classes at Quincy College and Daytona Beach College earning her CNA-Medical transcription degrees. Audrey managed and was co-owner of Rubes II, later furthering her career as a food service lady at Creekside Elementary School. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Patrick; maternal grandparents Leo and Mary (McCormack) Adams; paternal grandparents Phillip and Celeste (Merry) Rubnich; several Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Surviving is her sister Patti Ann (Craig) Rubnich, brother, Dr. Kevin Rubnich, both from Washington, IL., brother, Sean (Tracy) Rubnich, both from Daytona Beach, FL., Nieces, Amy Manley from Hanna City, IL, Erin Rubnich from Roslindale, MA, , nephews, Robert Manley II from Washington, IL Nicholas McGahan from Daytona Beach, and Bryan McGahan from Braintree, MA several great nieces, nephews and cousins. Also surviving is her boyfriend Niles Futch, his daughter Katie, sons Landon and Cody, her fur babies Finley and Harley, all from Port Orange, Fl. Audrey loved riding on the back of Niles’s motorcycle, her Patriots, her Bruins, her Family and Friends. She will truly be missed. Audrey was diagnosed with Cancer in 2015. She fought a courageous fight up to the end. She did this with, Grace, Dignity and Courage. She was our Warrior our Hero. An intimate memorial will be performed at the hospice center at 4:30pm., Friday, September 6th, with a celebration of life and internment at a later date. The family ask that in lieu of flowers a donation to Halifax Health Hospice be made in her name.
