Helen Samothrakis

Helen was born on October 5, 1931 and passed away in the afternoon of December 28, 2018, at the age of 87. Helen lived a fulfilling life as an amazing wife to her late husband, George, a loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed being with family, knitting, traveling, volunteering with her church, long walks and daily swims in the ocean in her hometown of Tinos, Greece. Everyone called her YAI YAI, which means, Grandmother in Greek, she truly lived up to her name with her contagious smile and immense care for others. She will be greatly missed.
