David Roy Francis

Dave passed away peacefully in his home at College Park II Retirement Residence. Dave was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Margaret, brothers Joe, Al and Bob. Dave is survived by his wife of 40 years, Eileen, step-daughter Melodie (Glenn), step-son Greg (Sheila), step-granddaughter Danielle and her family. Dave is also survived by his sisters-in-law Alice, Marjorie, as well as many nieces and nephews. Dave was a geologist and worked in Regina with the Department of Mineral Resources and then on to Saskatchewan Mining and Development Corporation (SMDC), as the General Manager. In 1978 Dave and Eileen moved to Saskatoon where Dave became the Executive Vice-President of SMDC until his retirement in 1985. In 1992, Dave and Eileen moved to High River, AB, then in 2008 to Edmonton, finally moving back to Regina in 2013. Flowers gratefully declined.
